Power Distribution Block for Solar Applications
Distributors of solar systems require a point to collect the negative and positive pole. The small distributor PDB Solar serves as a transfer point from the solar panels as protection. This means that up to 24 solar panels can be collected on the terminal and connected to the fuse by means of two setscrews as a large cross-section. The terminal is suitable for UL and IEC and offers the possibility of connecting aluminium or copper conductors from 2.5 to 16 mm². (#38690)
Single Pole Busbars for Solar Systems
For easy and fast wiring of solar systems, single pole busbars support the work. For applications in the DC range we deliver up to 50 mm² and a rated voltage of 1500 VDC for solar applications. To avoid errors in the wiring or connection, the special busbars are already available with an integrated connection terminal. Therefore there is no slipping of the clamp. Depending on the application, the busbar with different connection angle of the feed-in terminals is available in 90 °, 180 ° or 270 ° for a cross section up to 50 mm². Simple power connection using busbars
Generating electricity using solar cells involves transforming the direct current (DC) obtained into alternating current for domestic use. To avoid problems, this requires the correct power distribution between the fuses, which in turns calls for special application- and device-specific step distances for the rails. In addition, special profile requirements must be applied to ensure that the rails can withstand a voltage of up to 1500 V DC.
Step distances vary enormously among equipment manufacturers, but an individual grid dimension is a better way of monitoring heat development on the rail. FTG meets all these criteria as the supplier of switchgear for photovoltaic systems. FTG supplies 1- to 4-pole busbars with different cross-sections and step sizes prefabricated from the factory with the necessary accessories such as feed-in terminal blocks.
