Busbars of FTG
10 mm² and 16 mm² Busbars
Motor protection switches made by various manufacturers are used in all systems in combination with electric motors. A high start-up current, a longer braking distance, motor faults etc. can cause overloads. Motor circuit breakers which are simply wired with appropriate motor protection switch busbars from FTG provide reliable protection against this. The busbars can be used at currents up to 63A. Because of their extremely space-saving design, the busbars can be used in switchboard construction and have the advantage of being compact, stable and safe to touch. Using MCB busbars, the usual rapid, time-saving, cost-effective wiring of the motor protection switches can be achieved, and because the busbars can be extended, the motor protection switch busbars can be used very flexibly. The busbars are available in 10 sqmm and 16 sqmm busbar cross section and in step distances of 45 mm, 54 mm and 63 mm.
Feed-in blocks
For conductor feed-in on motor circuit breakers, the terminals of FTG suit perfectly to the offered busbars.
35 mm² busbars
For tough demands and extreme loads. The three pole motor circuit breaker busbar 35 sqmm is used wherever devices have to withstand the most extreme loads, e.g. with:
- heavy current loads
- high ambient temperatures
The busbars can be used with currents up to 160 A. FTG has succeeded in designing the busbar to be compact, stable and safe to touch. These rails are also available in increments of 45 mm, 54 mm and 63 mm.
Protection cover #MSV B54
If there are additional places on the DIN mounting rail for motor circuit breakers, FTG offers contact protection for unused connection lugs on the busbar.

All about Engines – FTG offers a wide range of accessories for wiring motor contactors or mini contactors in plant and control engineering. The fully molded busbars and star-point bridges are used to reduce errors in wiring connection of power contactors. The busbars fit to the devices such as from ABB, Allen Bradley, Eaton, GE, Lovato, Schneider Electric, Siemens or WEG.
