VSMeasy

When it comes to high currents and a secure connection when there is only little space, FTG’s fully encapsulated busbars are the best choice. The motor protection circuit busbars provide more safety for systems with electric motors that have motor protection switches. In combination, the motor protection switches reliably protect against high starting currents, a longer braking distance, drive faults and motor overloads.

VSMeasy impresses with an extremely compact design of the busbars, which are also very space-saving in use. A special feature of these busbars is the fully encapsulated version. By using VSMeasy, a short-circuit-proof connection can be achieved that ensures a touch safe design. Like FTG’s other busbars, they significantly reduce the amount of work by significantly saving time during assembly. VSMeasy is a product for many different device manufacturers and ensures an efficient electrical and mechanical connection of the individual components. These busbars are designed for motor protection switches up to 120 A.

As accessories, matching terminals according to IEC 60947-1, UL 508 and CSA are available for the respective motor protection switch versions. The product range also includes star-delta, reversing and special wiring bridges. To be even more flexible, adapter systems are also used to set up direct, reversing or star-delta combinations. This allows pre-wiring to be implemented outside the switchboards and, in the event of a fault, it is easier to replace the complete combination. This is what makes the slidable adapters on DIN rails possible. With a space saving of about 15% and a time saving of up to 50% compared to the conventional DIN rail mounting, the use of these adapters pays off quickly.

The complete product portfolio, in addition to the busbars for motor protection switches, will be presented by FTG at the SPS smart product solutions trade show (Hall 10.0, Stand 210) in Nuremberg from 26 to 28 November 2019 at the partner booth of Amphenol Tuchel Industrial GmbH.
