The bus bar terminals are generally used by end customers in control cabinet construction. The former practiced application, which is time-consuming and work-intensive for the control cabinet installer, is assembly using a cable lug, which is mounted on the busbar with a bolt thread and nut. Installation is quicker and easier with steel terminals of FTG. Depending on the material, the cable must be attached to the terminal point after the terminal is pushed onto the copper or aluminium busbar. Then tighten the screw taking the torque into account – done!
With busbar terminals of FTG you can save time while assembly.
A nearby tool-less installation due to snap-on-system requires only a screwdriver.
BKS terminal clamp are suitable for flat copper bars of 5 mm or 10 mm and for conductor cross sections of 1,5 up to 185 sqmm with a maximum current capacity of 180 – 500 A and 1000 V AC / 1500 V DC.
The BKN terminal clamps are suitable for flat copper bars of 3mm, 5 mm or 10 mm and for conductor cross sections of 1,5 up to 185 sqmm with a maximum current capacity of 180 – 500 A and 1000 V AC / 1500 V DC.
BKGS is for connecting conductors with bus bars, which are the connection of series of terminal blocks in switch boards.
The patented technology of the BKNA series for a quick connection of busbars with cables made for copper and aluminum.
Large cross-sections that are distributed on bus bars (up to 300 mm²) are often used in control cabinet construction.
This bus bar terminal BKD enables quick mounting on bus bars without drilling if the cable is to be connected using a ring cable lug.
Steel frame terminals are the opposite of terminals BKD. They allow a mounting of cables without ring cable lug on bus bars with holes for screw and nut. Cables only have to be stripped for assembly.
There is a wide range of steel connection clamps for individual applications, if only busbars are to be connected or, optionally, with a cable connection option.
